Theatre performance on workplace safety prevention at the Ocjo alla Sicurezza event, Isola della Scala

When safety takes the stage: Kairos Group at "Ocjo alla Sicurezza"

Can workplace prevention be discussed without slides or manuals? In May, Kairos Group experienced it first-hand: a delegation from our group attended "Ocjo alla Sicurezza", the event held at the Palatenda in Isola della Scala (Verona, Italy) that entrusts the language of theatre with the task of raising awareness about safety in the workplace.

The choice is no accident: rules can be learned, but behaviour only changes when emotions come into play. And it was precisely on emotions that the evening built its three key moments.

The voice of someone who lived through it. Flavio Frigè was just 17 when a serious accident at work cost him an arm and both legs. His direct, unfiltered account made tangible what statistics can never convey: health is an asset that allows no room for distraction.

Regulations brought to life. Italy's Consolidated Law on Occupational Safety (Legislative Decree 81/2008) became living matter in Bruzio Bisignano's monologue, which turned legal articles and technical updates into a narrative that speaks to everyone, far beyond dry theory.

Smiling to remember. The finale was entrusted to the comedy duo Trigeminus brothers, who brought everyday situations from workshops and production areas to the stage with irony, showing which habits protect us and which ones expose us to risk.

For Kairos Group, taking part in initiatives like this is part of a broader path: investing in people's awareness, even before regulatory obligations. Because protecting health and safety is never just a matter of compliance — it is part of the culture we work with every day.
